Yes Brandfield

We love seeing how you wear your Brandfield jewellery, bags, watches and accessories. When you share your photos or videos with us on social media, we are happy to show others how beautiful our products look on you. However, to do so, we need your permission. That is why we leave a comment under your photo or video asking whether we may use your content. If you agree, simply reply with the hashtag #YesBrandfield.

What are you giving permission for?

By agreeing with #YesBrandfield:

  • you grant Brandfield the right to share your content on all of our social media channels, such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn and YouTube;
    Brandfield may use your content for online advertisements, newsletters and other digital communications;
  • you waive any claim to royalties or other compensation for your content or any derivative works;
    you retain your moral rights (see below for how to exercise them); and
  • you grant Brandfield a non-exclusive right to distribute and reproduce the content for commercial purposes, without further restrictions.

No permission or withdrawing permission

If you do not want us to use your content, you do not need to do anything. Without a reply including #YesBrandfield, we will not use your content. Have you previously given permission and would you like us to stop using your photos? Please send an email to [email protected] and we will remove your content from our channels and systems.

Your moral rights

You have the following rights:

  • You can ask us to mention your name (first name and/or surname or social media username) alongside the content;
  • You can request that we do not edit your content, for example by not applying filters or not cropping the photo;
  • You can indicate that we may not use your content on specific channels or platforms that you name; and
  • You can modify your content and ask us to use the updated version.

If you would like to exercise one or more of these rights, please send an email to [email protected]. We will do our best to process your request as quickly as possible.

Protection of your privacy and personal data

Your photos may contain personal data. When you give us permission to use your photos as described above, your consent also forms the legal basis for processing those photos. You can withdraw your consent at any time via [email protected]. We will then remove your photos from our systems and stop any new publications. Withdrawing your consent does not affect previous use for which you have already given permission, such as in newsletters that have already been sent.

A voucher to thank you

To thank our community, we are giving away a €200 gift voucher among all customers who have used the hashtag #YesBrandfield. However, there is one condition: at least 10 people must participate before we award the voucher. Once this number has been reached, we will randomly select one winner to receive the €200 voucher.
